You prayed to the devil in Serpentine avenue that the fubsy widow in front might lift her lothes still more from the wet street.O si, certo! Sell your soul for that, do, dyed rags pinned round a squaw. More tell me, more still!! On the top of the Howth tram alone crying to the rain: Naked women! naked women! What about that, eh? 

Rezabas al diablo en Serpentine Avenue para que la viuda regordeta de delante de ti se levantara un poco más las faldas, en la calle mojada. O si, certo! Vende tu alma por eso, ea, trapos teñidos sujetos con alfileres alrededor de una mujer pelirroja. ¡Más, dime, más aún! En la imperial del tranvía de Howth, solo, gritando a la lluvia: ¡mujeres desnudas! ¿Y de eso qué, eh?
